How Often Do You Come for Mowing?

The frequency depends on your lawn’s growth and the time of summer. In general, weekly visits are recommended during peak season. We adjust the schedule based on conditions to avoid cutting more than one-third of the blade at each pass, which protects the health of your lawn.

Why Do You Adjust the Cutting Height by Season?

In Quebec, the recommended mowing height is around 8 cm in summer. A taller lawn retains moisture better, resists drought, and shades out weeds. In spring and fall, a slightly shorter cut stimulates density. We calibrate our mowers accordingly at each phase of the season.

How Is Your Snow Removal Method Different?

Instead of blowing the snow, we compact it with rubber-tired rollers. Blowing often sends rocks and sand onto your lawn, damaging it in the spring. Tamping eliminates that problem by keeping the aggregate on the ground. Your property’s better protected all winter.

How Does the Snow Alert Service Work?

Before each snow removal visit, we send you a text or call to let you know to move your vehicle. This service is offered at no charge to our snow removal clients. For details and conditions, contact our team.

What’s the Difference Between Landscaping and Grading?

Landscaping covers the full scope of soil preparation work: soil redistribution, addition of materials, and compaction. Grading is a more refined step aimed at evening out the surface for a straight, stable result. The two complement each other to give your lawn or project a solid base.

When Should the Spring Property Opening Be Done?

The opening is generally done as soon as the snow has melted enough to access the property, often between mid-April and mid-May in the Eastern Townships. Spring cleanup (gravel, debris, stones on the lawn) prepares your property for the growing season. Call us early to reserve your spot.
