How often do you provide lawn mowing services?

The frequency depends on how quickly your grass grows and the time of year. In general, weekly mowing is recommended during peak season. We adjust the schedule according to conditions to avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass blade at a time, which helps protect the health of your lawn.

Why do you adjust the mowing height according to the season?

The recommended mowing height is around 8 cm during the summer. Taller grass retains moisture better, is more resistant to drought, and helps shade out weeds. In spring and fall, mowing slightly shorter helps promote a denser lawn. We adjust our mowers accordingly throughout the season.

How is your snow removal method different?

At the beginning of winter, we compact the first layer of snow using a roller to create a solid base on your driveway. This layer protects the ground and allows us to remove snow without displacing rocks and sand.

Unlike snow blowing, which can scatter these materials onto your lawn, compacting the snow keeps them in place. This helps protect both your driveway and your property throughout the winter season. We then use a snow blower to remove snow for the remainder of the season.

How does the snow alert service work?

What is the difference between landscaping and grading?

Landscaping includes all the work involved in preparing the ground, such as redistributing soil, adding materials, and compacting the surface. Grading is a more precise step designed to level the surface and create an even, stable result. Both services work together to provide a solid foundation for your lawn or landscaping project.

When should spring yard cleanup be done?

Spring yard cleanup is generally done once enough snow has melted to provide access to the property, usually between mid-April and mid-May in the Eastern Townships. Spring cleanup, including removing gravel, debris, and rocks from the lawn, prepares your property for the growing season. Contact us early to reserve your spot.
